2011 Rugby World Cup Quarter Finals

Well the 2011 Rugby World Cup Quarter Finals are upon us!. If you are keeping an eye on these Rugby World Cup games from the comfortableness of your sofa, it's time to stock up on the snack food and specially the BEER & WINE.

Ireland v Wales. Saturday 6am.

There will be excitement in the Wellington air (and rather no rain) at the vista of these Celtic contenders merging it on neutral ground, a idea fueled by enlivening performances in the pool stages. Ireland, with a resurgent scrummage and Sean O'brien in fine form, have to dampen Wales’s exuberant attack. Ireland to win in a very close match.

England v France.
Saturday, 8.30 am.

Even though this is no longer the savagely-contested, top-of-the-European billed face off that it was previously, there is every risk that it will once more result in sparks in Auckland. France have been really awful while England are still looking for form, but Englands motivation to come through tight matches will see them progress. England to win this hard thought match.

South Africa v Australia. Sunday 6am.

Final one standing wins? The two southern superpowers are feeling the tempo after a long season and both teams have yielded to injury. The Wallabies appear to be the more damaged with their wing Drew Mitchell the latest injured party on Saturday. If, however, Australia can get a toehold up front in Wellington, they will reign. Australia in a closely fought match.

New Zealand v Argentina. Sunday 8.30 am.

It is out of the question to picture anything other than an All Black triumph in Auckland. Even if the Pumas were at full force they would be unable to dominate New Zealand, but without No 8 Juan Martn Fernndez Lobbe and fly-half Juan Martn Hernndez they are under-clubbed, even up against a Dan Carter-less New Zealand. New Zealand ALL THE WAY!
